Network Operations Engineer

• Working days: 5 Days (9.00am – 6.00pm)

• Salary range: RM7,000 – RM15,000

Job Scope

• Analyze Metro-E equipment logs and create the initial matrix information document.
• Lead weekly meetings to review migration preparations with the project team and customers.
• Collaborate with customers on migration details, including port mapping, network planning, and matrix updates.
• Develop MOP documents and migration scripts for Metro-E and NGT nodes based on matrix information.
• Troubleshoot network issues on-site and provide technical solutions based on project requirements.
• Generate and report network KPIs after migration to ensure performance aligns with agreed standards.
• Provide post-event support and respond to customer requests.
• Coordinate with Principal RC & R&D teams to resolve network incidents based on severity.
• Support night activities as needed by the customer.

Requirement 

• At least 2 years of experience as a Network Engineer in telecom, specializing in IP.
• Experience with TM Metro-E networks and CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE certification preferred.
• Familiarity with Python scripting is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, data communication, and network architecture.
• Expertise in interpreting KPIs, monitoring performance, and resolving complex network issues.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and thrive under pressure.
• Innovative and results-oriented with strong coordination and communication skills.
