Job Scope
- As an HR Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the Human Resources department and assist in daily operations. Responsibilities include:
- Processing new hire paperwork and ensuring completion of required forms.
- Maintaining HR records, including employee files and databases.
- Updating and organizing HR documents and policies.
- Handling routine inquiries from employees regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Collaborating with payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll changes.
- Verifying timesheets and assisting with payroll inquiries.
- Ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Assisting in HR audits and preparing reports as needed.
- Maintaining confidentiality of HR information and records.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Human Resources or related field a plus.
- Previous experience in an administrative role or HR internship advantageous.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) software.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
